WVUM 90.5 FM is the award-winning, fully student-run radio station of the University of Miami, broadcasting to South Florida and streaming worldwide since 1968. The station delivers eclectic programming rooted in indie electronic and alternative music, complemented by news, public affairs, and live play-by-play coverage of Miami Hurricanes athletics. A nationally recognized voice in college radio, WVUM earned mtvU's Woodie Award for Best College Radio Station in 2011 and has been repeatedly named Best Radio Station by the Miami New Times.
