WUVT 90.7 FM is Virginia Tech's non-commercial, student-run radio station — one of the longest-running in Virginia, with roots dating to an experimental AM broadcast in 1948. Operating 24/7 from Squires Student Center in Blacksburg, the station's volunteer DJs deliver free-form programming built on music rarely found on the commercial dial, alongside news, sports, and public affairs coverage for the New River Valley community.
