WBAA Classical is Indiana's most historic public radio service, with roots stretching back to 1922 as the state's longest continuously operating station. Originally the classical FM arm of Purdue University's public media, the station is now operated by Metropolitan Indianapolis Public Media (MIPM) and offers a 24-hour classical music format featuring Performance Today, Anytime Classical, and broadcasts from leading orchestras including the Chicago Symphony and New York Philharmonic. In November 2025, the classical service relocated from its longtime 101.3 FM home to 105.9 FM, with 101.3 FM becoming the WBAA News frequency. The stream remains available online under the WBAA Classical brand.
