KXPR 88.9 FM is Sacramento's public music station, broadcasting classical music throughout most of the day and shifting to jazz on weekday and Sunday evenings. Owned by California State University, Sacramento and part of the CapRadio network, it also airs beloved weekend programs such as Sunday Baroque, From The Top, and the Metropolitan Opera on Saturday afternoons in season.
