ARTxFM 97.1 Louisville WXOX

WXOX 97.1 is a nonprofit freeform community radio station based in Louisville, Kentucky, dedicated to giving artists and community members a platform for creative and experimental broadcasting. Founded online during Idea Festival 2012 and incorporated as a Kentucky 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2011, the station secured its FM license in 2016 under the Local Community Radio Act. Entirely volunteer-powered and listener-supported, ARTxFM airs a diverse mix of music, talk, and experimental programming around the clock — championing both the local Louisville arts scene and an international artistic dialogue.
