Larrkardi Radio is Derby's homegrown community voice in the Kimberley, on air since 1 March 2003 under the Derby Media Aboriginal Corporation. Broadcasting on 97.9 FM, the station serves the township and nearby communities including Mowanjum with a diverse music mix, local news, community announcements, and award-winning First Nations programming such as 'Our Voices From The Kimberley'. Live broadcasts run weekdays and Saturday mornings; evenings and weekends carry the National Indigenous Radio Service.
