WZEW 92.1 FM is Mobile's only locally owned and operated music station, serving the Gulf Coast with an eclectic adult album alternative format since 1984. The lineup spans new releases and classic rock alongside blues, jazz, and New Orleans-flavored programming — anchored by personality-driven shows, the long-running Radio Avalon, and a Sunday jazz brunch. Official radio home of the Hangout Music Festival.
